If I was crossing the street in Japan, I think that I would die. I would mess up the traffic flow so badly that I think I would get hit by a car. When I went to Europe, with my friend Tori and her family, we went to Bath and London. It was very weird to see how small all of the roads were, and how fast the speed limit was. Most of the cars were little sedans but we had to rent a mini-van. Although my friends mother was from England, it was still difficult for her to drive around the round abouts. If I was driving in England I would probably get into an accident because the round about is not used often in America.

I can totally understand what you mean I would probably die too! I bet it was very confusing for you, even having someone that was somewhat familiar with the area there with you. You are lucky to have gotten the chance to experience a culture so different than ours, I never have had the chance. Someday I hope I will!

do you think people around the world have trouble driving in the US? I think they would be bored. I think it would be easier to adapt to a more organized system, than it would be to adapt to the "madness" of traffic systems around the world.

I can relate...except for the small roads. When I went to Italy I dashed across the roads, except I used the American Way of crossing the roads. (When a car comes by stop and then cross the road)....but I survived.
